Some fantastic new to share with you all, we have our first litter born at the new rescue. I would like to introduce you all to Mamma Mia and her three hoglets.
Mia came to us via Lynwood vets in Wareham after being seen crossing a road dragging her back legs, X-rays were taken which showed no breakages and no wounds were present. They also performed an ultrasound scan which confirmed she was pregnant, which isn’t surprising considering she weighed in at 1.3kg. She arrived at the rescue a little drowsy and was placed in a cage and left alone.
Mia gave birth over Friday night into Saturday and these are her babies at a week old they are all doing really well including mum, the babies were huffing and chuffing at me when I cleaned out her nest as it was honking.
