Weekend Manager
We now have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Dorset Hedgehog Rescue as a weekend manager!
The position will involve supervising volunteers, admitting and assessing casualties, and liaising with vets. Additional duties include general office tasks such as answering emails, giving advice to members of the public, and producing contributions for our newsletter and magazine.
The role requires the ability to work independently, as well as within a small team, and to be comfortable taking on responsibility for managing the centre.
The rescue centre is not accessible by public transport so access to a car and the ability to drive is essential.
Closing date for applications is 30th April but early applications are advised, applications will be assessed and interviews offered on a rolling basis. We reserve the right to close the position early if the right applicants are found.
Starting date – as soon as possible.
