One of last nights entries, a little hoglet with a nasty injury to her back end, believed to have been caused by a strimmer, which was covered in flystrike.
Flystrike has been cleaned off, and subcut fluids given for shock and dehydration, wound treated with a cream that removes necrotic tissue and debris from wounds to promote faster healing and prevent infection.
She has a problem unrolling at present, but I think that is due to pain rather than an actual physical issue. She made short work of a dish of sloppy puppy food and milk, so hopefully that is a good sign.
