This little video of Dougie having a scratch while his box is being cleaned out might cheer you up. He doesn’t have fleas, he is scratching to remove old quills (you can see some come out in the video). Hedgehogs get quit itchy while they are quilling.
People are often surprised by the length of hedgehog’s legs, as you can see here, they are indeed long.
