A litter of 4 hoglets were born in the rescue this morning to a hog that had been brought in after being ‘picked up’ by the family dog. Sadly mum immediately killed two of them. The remaining two were removed for their own safety, but one died soon after.
Kay has taken the remaining hoglet, weighing just 21g, home to feed. Though we will give it a go, it is unlikely this little hoglet will make it.
