Another entry tonight, adult male hog, 565g. Has an injury to the left side of his face and snout. Luckily no flystrike. Also very flat from dehydration.
He was given s/c fluids and had the wound cleaned, followed by a topical application of an antibacterial barrier cream. He is now in a cage with a heat pad, food and water.
Hopefully being so dehydrated doesn’t cause any organ damage/failure, and he’ll make a full recovery.
