This poor old chap is Bubbles. He came to us having been trapped in a chain link fence. He had lots of flystrike that needed to be picked off, which he objected to, so we had to bath him in special shampoo to remove any remaining eggs and maggots.
In some respects, he was lucky getting trapped as his faecal sample shows that he has fluke, lungworm and intestinal worms. He has started treatment for all three. He eats well, and is quite bright so we hope he’ll be able to get over his parasite burden and be able to be released in the not too distant future.
