Another busy day, and more hoglets coming through the door, one of which died shortly after arriving, his sister is poorly, not very responsive, but has had two lots of subcut fluids now, and two very small feeds. She is in an incubator on her own at the moment, but I will put her in with some other tonight.
Some of the older hoglets are on a sloppy mix of meat and formula now, hopefully they will be weaned before long. There are still over 20 being hand fed, which, as you can imagine, takes a lot of time.
The heat does not help, especially with all the incubators going.
Don’t forget to leave out a bowl of water for wildlife, especially in this hot weather.
