This little fella is Wilf.
Wilf came to us after being trapped in a gap between two walls. In his efforts to escape, he has worn his front feet down to the bone, and the wounds are massively infected.
He was x-rayed to check for breaks, but luckily there were none. His front legs are swollen because of the infection, which we are treating with antibiotics.
We keep his front feet covered with conforming bandage to help keep them clean, and he can walk with the bandages on, where he couldn’t before. We are keeping him in the large ICU for now, and he has settled in well.
He has brightened up considerably over the last couple of days, and we are really hoping his feet will recover and heal well.
He looks like a hedgehog boxer with his bandages on.
