Throw back Friday – back to 2019 when I did my microchip training. We microchip all the hedgehogs we release as part of our post-release monitoring.
One hedgehog came back to us some 5 years after it was chipped 😮 We have had several chipped hedgehogs come back in over the years and it’s always interesting to compare where they came from as opposed to where they were released, how long ago they were first with us and why they came back in.
