Little Mousie came to us weighing just 60g and in a very sorry state. She had bad ringworm and lost most of the fur from her face, skirt and belly. For a while she looked like a hairless mouse, with large ears and long snout.
She underwent treatment including medicated baths for the ringworm but she took ages to grow or put on weight. Then all of a sudden she started putting on weight. She is a lovely healthy hedgehog now, which Cheryl is especially pleased about.
She is now in an outside pen (soft release) getting ready for the winter. Once up to release weight, and if the weather conditions are right, she’ll be released.
