Poor lucky is having to be syringe fed as he doesn’t appear to be able to pick up food. We are giving him a special veterinarian puppy food that is high in fat and proteins, and includes an appetite enhancer.
He is also being given special fluids called critical care that has the acids and vitamins he needs to assist his recovery, and also has an appetite enhancer.
He needs to eat to be fit enough to fight off infection and to give him a good chance of recovery.
He is very poorly still, but we are keeping our fingers crossed for him.
