New entry

Another new entry today, this little guy was found out during daytime, asleep on the lawn, so the finder contacted us for advice, following which she caught him and brought him over to us.

He weighs 450g, which is way on the light side for hibernation, and is infested with fleas and mites. He has been given a medicated bath to help remove some of the parasites and mud, and will be treated for the fleas/mites when he has got warm and dry.

He is now on a heated mat to warm him up. Once he does a poo I’ll check under the microscope to see if he has worms.
