The guys from Castlemain Groundworks were here working on the foundations to our new hedgehog ward today, arriving at 07.30 sharp.
Ground dug out, damp proof membrane laid, stone base laid, reinforcing mesh laid, concrete poured and tamped. Two layers of hessian laid as frost protection as temps are due to drop tonight, with frost forecast.
