Please be aware of hedgehogs and other wildlife if you are starting to clear up your garden ready for Spring – we have already had our first strimmer casualty of the year, as have many other hedgehog rescues.
Please check the area before using strimmers or other garden machinery as there could be hedgehogs, mice, frogs, toads, newts, lizards etc in the long grass or undergrowth.
