This is Toby, a large adult male hog, 1077g, who came in to us from West Moors earlier after having been spotted laying out in the open with blood on his face and head.
He has quite obvious bite marks on his head and face, which we have cleaned up now. He was also given subcutaneous fluids for shock and dehydration.
He is not very responsive, which is not unusual for a hog that has been attacked and bitten, and we hope that he will respond once he has had a spell in a warm and quiet cage. He has food and water available should he want it.
