This big chap is Saturn who came in 3 weeks ago having been badly strimmed. His wounds are healing but he still has quite a way to go. It will take a long time for his spikes to grow back and he may be left with areas of scar tissue where the spikes will not regrow.
He still flinches every time he is picked up, and must be quite sore still.
We are hoping he makes a full recovery and can be released back into the wild.
