313g Hoglet

This 313g hoglet came in to us today after being found 3 days ago. This is not a hog that has been in hibernation and lost weight, which we can tell by it’s condition, and going by it’s weight it will be around 8 weeks old.

This hoglet is very dehydrated, thin and cold. It has had warm subcutaneous fluids and is now in an ICU warming up.

Please, if you find a small hog out and about, or a hog out during daytime at this time of year, get it to your local rescue without delay as it will almost certainly need intervention and help.
