If you’re on Virgin for your TV and internet, apologies from us if you have a problem today – the local engineers are doing a volunteering day with us today.
Sadly the grass seed on our soft release area did not take due to the weather, and weeds are coming through. The lads are tidying up the yard for us and weeding the soft release area so that we can re-seed it. Hopefully now the weather is a little cooler the grass will grow. We will be watering the area (ssshhhhh, don’t tell Wessex Water) to help the seed germinate.
They all got to see the hedgehogs, and have a hold of some of the juveniles (while their cages were being cleaned so there was no undue disturbance) and had a tour of the rescue centre.
