Another busy day, and more hoglets coming through the door, one of which died shortly after arriving, his sister is poorly, not very responsive, but
Litter of six orphan hogs, vying for position as to who gets fed first….
Two more orphan hoglets brought in yesterday morning, both male, both weigh 69g. These are probably 5 – 6 days old, still have their eyes
This little chap came in to us Monday after getting himself trapped in an enclosed courtyard with fake grass surface.
He had fallen about 3 – 4 feet down, and there was no way he could have got out on his own. He could have been there since Friday.
Two of the orphan hoglets that came in last night, one male and one female. They are about 5 – 6 days old, and still
Tiny Pikachu trying his first solids, a mix of Esbilac and Hills a/d. His teeth are now starting to appear.
He seemed more interested in the lid (off a small jar) at first, then seemed to realise the meat was there and was tasty 😀 He polished off the whole lot in the end.
This should mean we can go longer between feeds now, which Tracy will be happy about.
It’s nice holding them to feed them, but better when they can feed themselves.
