Hedgehog update from the Vet:- The scalp laceration was worse than we thought, and took a bit to sort out. He also has a broken jaw, which due to his age, should heal well on its own.
He is in intensive care, but is eating, and should be ok to come back to us on Friday for long term care and rehabilitation.
The Vet believes the injury was caused by a car wheel just catching him and tearing the scalp down and breaking his jaw. There are two marks on his head that he thinks are tyre marks.
