This is little Oscar who had been seen out and about in the day for 2-3 days. He was brought to us absolutely covered in fly strike and really cold
The last of our cages arrived today and are now in place. They will need cleaning before use, but are ready to go otherwise. Our capacity is now 103 hedgehogs
The first of our hand feeders have started weaning now, and appear to be taking to it well. They have a mixture of formula and puppy mousse to start with
Some exciting news our first release is happening tonight. This is Ashley and our very first intake from Lynwood vets Wimborne and also named after the barn, he came in
These 5 little hoglets came in over the weekend after their nest was disturbed. Thankfully mum was captured and has been successfully reunited with the hoglets. They’ll be with us

These two female hoglets, weighing 90g and 106g, came in late yesterday afternoon. Sadly a dog dug out a nesting mum and her hoglets. Mum took off and two hoglets
This hedgehog was seen running around in the yard and car park area of an industrial estate for a couple of hours yesterday morning. She was very dehydrated, with lots
