Ah-haaar me hearties

‘TIS time for thousands of hearties to swashbuckle their way down to Poole Quay for the long-awaited return of the annual celebration of its favourite pirate son.

Harry Paye Day will return to the Quay for the first time since 2019 today, Saturday, June 18, with thousands expected to dig out their eye patches, don their earrings and celebrate all things pirate.

Held annually since 1922, Harry Paye Day is organised by the Pirates of Poole and will once again feature a parade of pirates, followed by live music, best dressed competitions, games, rides, live history areas, food, drink and plenty more shenanigans.

We are very pleased to announce that we are one of the charities supported by the Harry Paye day.

Our information stall is there, in front of Wetherspoons on the quay ‘manned’ by some of our lovely volunteers.

Why not get yourself and your family down the quay to support the event, and visit our stand.
