Ethel

Autumn litters are still being born – This little 78g female hoglet, now named Ethel, came in to us last night after being found motionless in a back garden. Her eyes and ears were not open yet, but she has a set of teeth already.

She had a lot of flystrike, all over her back and around her back end. This was cleaned off while she was kept on a heat pad to warm her up. Once clean and warm, she took a feed of 3ml of formula. She is in one of our ICU’s now to provide a warm and safe environment for her.
