Released to the wild

Here are some photos of some of the hogs we released into one of our release sites last evening. These were hogs that, for one reason or another, were unable to be released back to where they came from. The area has been especially created for wildlife of all kinds and has lots of natural and man made hideaways for hogs and other creatures.

Planting is done with insects in mind, with many bee and butterfly friendly plants plus shrubs and plenty of undergrowth for hogs etc to hide and nest under. There is a shallow pond which has an abundance of damsels and dragon flies, and is easy to get out of should a hog manage to fall in.

Good luck hoggies!
