Humphrey, the hedgehog that came in with balloon syndrome, has been back from the vets for a couple of days, and is looking fine with no sign of him ‘ballooning’ again.
He looks like a normal hog now, instead of a blimp and is eating well. He still has a bit of diarrhoea, which we think is due to the antibiotics, but is otherwise healthy.
He will be ready for release back to the wild in a week or so, when we are sure he is fit and healthy.
