As anticipated we had several strimmer injured hedgehogs over the bank holiday weekend.
Sadly, two of which had to be taken immediately to the emergency vet to be euthanised due to their injuries being non-survivable including one with his entire head and back stripped down to the bone and his skull exposed. Another had both back legs strimmed off. This one in the photo has his head strimmered with gaping wounds behind both ears and the top of his head sliced open.
