I’d like to say a big thank you to Jeff and Matt from Vale Wildlife Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre for travelling to Dorset to give the first aid, care & rehabilitation course at our rescue centre yesterday.
Of the 30 attendees, 27 were volunteers from DHR whom I’m sure can’t wait to put their new found knowledge to use in the rescue.
Everyone enjoyed the course and I’ve had some great feedback – well done everyone! I think they all enjoyed the cakes, kindly made by Elaine. Thanks also to Karen and Neil for doing the teas, coffees etc and for putting on the table sale. Also to Tracy, Judith, Ingrid, Anna and Denise for holding the fort downstairs and cleaning all the cages & ICU’s.
