Training Day

Yesterday, as part of our continual development, and to make sure we are up to speed with the latest research and practices, we attended a course organised by the Dorset Mammal Group, and ran by Vale Wildlife hospital.

Methods change quickly in wildlife treatment and rehabilitation, and being aware of those changes is important to ensure that we provide the best possible care for our spiky friends.

It was also a good chance to ‘network’ with other rehabbers in the County, and exchange ideas.

We also bought some updated literature and supplies to top up our stock ready for the coming spring influx of hoglets and casualties.

A very informative and interesting day – and it just proves you can never stop learning.
