All the appliances were delivered this morning and installed by yours truly and Cheryl is already putting them to the test by washing all the towels and fleece pockets.
The food shelves are filling up. One more delivery of food due late this afternoon and more medical supplies also due.
We’re tidying up all the odds and sods now as well as contacting prospective volunteers and planning the rota.
I’ve had quite a good response from the people I’ve contacted so far and the days are filling up nicely on the rota. It looks like we will be opening the week commencing 28th April, slightly later than planned but this is due to availability of volunteers.
